Ok, hotel but not really 5 starts…
The staff was great. Especially Ricky and Rene (the lifeguard) after an incident in the pool (I stepped on broken glass inside the pool, next to my 3-year-old) not good… The food was good, the room spacious, the amenities and kids club also ok. However, we couldn’t get in the water at the beach during our 6-day stay. The spa was great. If you can visit for a couple of hours, please do. The quality of the drinks/spirits was poor, and the music on the pool was extremely loud. Hard to talk… Overall, the hotel was ok for the value. But If you want a better experience, you need to spend more and go somewhere else. It was OK. But we definitely won't come back.

Don’t hesitate to book this hotel!
(RRR)One of the best hotels we’ve ever been! Small, so everything is conveniently located and close. What makes it the best hotel is the SERVICE!!! Ricky is amazing. He guesses your wishes before you even think about them. He’s not walking but running all over the hotel to make sure all guests are happy and have everything they need! Lorna in Texas restaurants is AMAZING! Kids club ladies are going above and beyond to make kiddos happy and entertained! My daughter didn’t want to leave the kids club most days! Same for other kids! So much fun! Food is great, nice beach, cabanas for everyone. No special treatment for members. All staff genuinely cares about their guests. Highly recommend!!! Will definitely be back

Definitely recommend
My favorite resort in Mexico! All facilities were very nice. Food was amazing. Staff was nice. Always something for the kids to do. The spa was amazing. There was about a foot of seaweed on the edge of the water at the beach, but it was loose and easy to step through without sticking to me. Once I walked past that, the water was clear and enjoyable.

Not as great as it seems
The good: The bed is super comfy Lots to do for kids Good food Friendly helpful staff Nice rooms Towels galore You can regulate the temperature in each room Lovely pools Adult pool a peaceful haven (until beach bar opens) Tea house lovely and has decaf coffee The bad: 1. Dangerously slippery floors So we're here in the rainy season and the only way to get to the rooms and many other areas is on outside corridors of slick marble which turn extremely slippery when wet. My toddler fell over a bunch of times each day and my mum (72) had a nasty fall too which could have totally ruined our holiday. Cleaning up the water on these walkways doesn't seem to be a priority but it should be and really it all needs to be resurfaced with something less slippery and deadly. 2. Furniture pulling very loud The furniture is heavy so when pulled along the marble floor it makes a loud sound that you can hear rooms away. So afternoon naps were impossible in the room since a room nearby is always being cleaned and that involves all the furniture being dragged along the floor. Same when the neighbours come home at 2am or when they leave for the airport at 4am. We were constantly woken by the moving of furniture. I suggest those little pads made of felt that you can stick on the bottom of the chairs and tables. 3. Beach bar music too loud and electronic and house Another reason it was difficult to really relax here was the booming music from the beach bar that can be heard for most of the day in every part of the hotel including all the rooms with all doors and windows shut. Two days in a row they had extremely loud electronic and house music on for hours. I had to complain. It was excessively loud and totally inappropriate music for a family resort. They eventually changed the music but didn't turn it down. But the volume is excessive. It should only be audible in the beach bar so people who like that can go there but others should be able to enjoy other parts of the hotel without being subjected to the constant noise. It also ruins the adult pool which has lovely relaxing music but when the beach bar opens at 10am it turns into a cacophony since you can hear both musics. 4. Can't turn off balcony light Another reason we couldn't sleep well was the amount of light in the room partly cos of the bright balcony light that illuminates the room at night even with the curtains completely closed. They should allow each room to control their balcony light. 5. Beach unusable and smelly The beach is completely unusable. It might as well not be there. It's covered in mountains of seaweed and is smelly. To be honest, we won't be back.

Amazing stay, Outstanding service!!
The service is so amazing! They go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Ricky reserved our lounge chairs every morning and kept replenishing our towels. Kept checking in on us frequently everyday. He really is an amazing person. Hector from the Mexican restaurant made our birthdays extra special and Israel from the steakhouse made our dinner memorable as well.
