We had a fun family vacation. Loved that we were greeted with a welcome drink. Everyone was so friendly, service was great. Even though it was busy, the bartenders did a great job at keeping the line moving. The activity staff was also very engaging. My teenage son and husband took advantage of all the activities ranging from beach volleyball, pool volleyball and water polo. Paulina was also fun durning water aerobics. There was always something to do. The location was also great, which was one of the reasons we picked this resort. Food was fine. Elmer and Junior provided great service at the buffet! The Italian restaurant was really good as was Tiki taco. I also loved the coco cafe! Nice to have coffee first thing in the morning! The lates and coffee drinks were very good and the staff was very friendly! The only thing missing or we wished was different was more seating by the bar area at night. It was crowded and difficult to find a place to sit. Luckily we had a balcony and would take our drinks to our room. Other than that, the stay was very nice! The entertainment was also good. Liked the LED and fire show!

Took a last-minute trip with my family before having to go back to work. And we arrived at the Sunscape finding out that they had no spa on the premises.. and that was one of the advertising on TripAdvisor The second thing that they advertised was the kids waterslides. Those were also clothes when we arrived. The hotel made a sign a waiver for the water park even though they knew it was an operational. Don’t recommend staying here,

Worst Hotel ever
Horrible, do not go to this hotel, elevator broken had to go up 8 flights of stairs.Long lines due to having one single buffet for the entire hotel, rent a beach umbrella because they have 15 chairs..

terrible
My husband and I are writing to express our disappointment and frustration at the Sunscape Hotel Resort in Puerto Vallarta Mexico,which we stayed from Saturday July 22, 2023 thru Sunday July 30, 2023. We experienced a significant amount of issues during our stay that impacted our overall experience. First during our arrival due to a mishap in the hotel our room was changed, and the room that they upgraded us to had no air conditioning, so we had to move to another room. In that room the air conditioning unit barely worked, and the water was cold. Next the room that was next door to us ordered room service and the tray of leftover food was left outside their room door the whole week why we were there, causing all types of insects outside our door. Also there are 19 floors in the building that we stayed with three elevators which only one of them worked the whole time we were there, not only was there only one functioning elevator, but it was on the outside in the heat. Next to the pool, if my husband and I were not wearing water shoes there was no way we would have been able to get inside of the pool, due to the gravel your feet were touching at the bottom, and that ended our pool activity for the rest of the trip. Lastly, the food, although we were not expecting the best, but what resort does not at least serve bacon and sausage for breakfast. We were told by the staff that works the restaurant that they do not serve it because they now cater to Mexican Americans. This trip has cost us money that was not in our budget, not only did we have to spend money everyday on breakfast, lunch and dinner, we had to find a pool and entertainment outside the resort. We chose this resort , because of the stay we had back in 2017 with our son who is now deceased, he had such a good time there, and the staff was very accommodating to him because of his disability, so we decided to go back to honor him. We know things change with time, but we weren't expecting this on our trip. This makes me want to choose another agency or even find a travel agent to start booking my future trips through, because this was very unacceptable considering the price we paid in money and time.

- I had the best sleeps in the rooms. - The Concierge Omar Mata was very lovely, always greeting me and asking if I needed anything,. I injured my foot on Day 1 and he took great care in making sure I was okay . - The bartenders were exceptional, very friendly & super fun. - The waiters & waitresses at the Buffet were also incredibly exceptional with their service and I truly felt valued. I made friends with just about every waiter, they are so friendly and love conversation.
